Dr. Jennifer Eads is a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of patients with gastroesophageal cancers and neuroendocrine tumors. In addition to having clinical expertise in these areas, she is also a clinical investigator, conducting phase I, II and III trials that focus on patients with these diagnoses. She is the physician lead for GI clinical research at the University of Pennsylvania and is an active member of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group where she currently is the national study chair for a clinical trial evaluating the role of immunotherapy in patients with localized esophageal and gastroesophageal junctional cancer.
